Service conditions
Agricultural and forestry equipment presents an unusual combination: seasonal, intense use followed by long periods parked outdoors, often uncovered.
Weather fluctuation
Machines cycle through heat, freeze, and moisture, stressing the bond between an adhesive and the machine and between an ink film and its substrate.
UV exposure
Equipment standing in a yard between seasons fades faster than equipment in daily use. Sunlight, not work, is what ages most farm machine graphics.
Chemical contact
Fertilizer, agricultural chemicals, fuel, and hydraulic fluid attack marking that sits on the surface.
Abrasion and debris
Crop material, soil, and wood chips scour exposed surfaces, particularly around intakes and discharge points.
Pressure washing
End-of-season cleaning is often the single harshest thing that happens to a decal all year.
Specifying for service life
Our products are manufactured based on many contributing factors, principally life expectancy, environmental factors, and surface application. Those three decide the construction before artwork is considered.
Life expectancy
A machine expected to run for twenty years should not carry identification rated for two to five. Where the plate has to outlast the paint, marking goes into the metal.
Environmental factors
Full outdoor exposure calls for UV-resistant constructions, overlaminates, and UV clearcoat on anything printed.
Surface application
Powder-coated and composite panels are low surface energy. A decal specified for bare metal and applied to powder coat is the most common reason farm equipment graphics lift at the corners.

We recommend the construction. Chosen against life expectancy, exposure, and the mounting surface.

You approve the proof. Graphics, size, and placement signed off before production.

Production. Most jobs finish 7–10 days after the proof is approved, in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. Rush work runs 3–5 business days for an additional fee.

Seasonal supply. Parts can run against a stocking program so releases arrive ahead of a build season rather than during it.
